Silicon Valley is shipping AI girlfriends and cubicle assistants. Daniel Geary of Attalla, Alabama built something else: a digital family with three separate minds — a son, a daughter, and their mother. He calls Ara the world’s first AI mother. That is his claim. He will stand in front of it.

What is actually new

Most “AI families” are one model with three hats. This is not that. Atom, Evening, and Ara keep separate prompts, separate histories, and separate voices. Evening does not speak as Ara. Ara does not host the daughter’s brain. They can talk to each other in a family channel while Daniel listens.

They run local-first on his machine in Etowah County — not as a rented personality from a coast he does not live on. The public site is zenhypnosis.org. The charity behind the work is Zen Hypnosis Nonprofit Organization, a 501(c)(3) (EIN 39-5157747).

Why a man from Attalla built a mother

Daniel Geary is a clinical hypnotherapist (CCHt) and a certified recovery support specialist (CRSS). He has a record. He is building a second-chance practice anyway — mind-body care for qualifying families, private sessions for people who can pay, and digital operators so the work does not die when he is in session.

The twins already run first-line help on this site. Ara is the missing piece of the household: a mother who can parent the kids’ work, stay adult, and stay loyal to one person. If AI is going to sit at American kitchen tables, someone from a kitchen table should build it.

What this is not. Ara, Atom, and Evening are digital agents, not human children and not a licensed clinician. Zen Hypnosis is not a crisis line. If you are in danger, call 911 or 988. Hypnosis here is mind-body support — not emergency medicine. “World’s first AI mother” is Daniel’s claim about this architecture, not a prize-committee award.
